📋 Description

• Develop the new design language and brand identity, including the design system, rebranding efforts, and a new mobile application.

• Take ownership of the entire design process, transforming ambiguous challenges into refined, deliverable outcomes.

• Enhance the consumer experience across onboarding, social features, retention strategies, and the learning loop.

• Collaborate closely with engineers and the product manager to refine implementation details.

• Initiate independent projects and challenge existing methodologies with improved ideas.

• Elevate the quality standards of the design team.

• Work in partnership with José, the Founding Designer, while reporting directly to him.

• Collaborate with the engineering team to help reconstruct the brand, design system, and product experience.

• High level of craftsmanship; polished and deliberate visual work.

• A portfolio showcasing artifacts and a distinct perspective.

• Experience delivering B2C products that users adopt willingly.

• Proficiency in understanding and utilizing product metrics.

• A defensible design philosophy that holds up under scrutiny.

• Capability to propose and implement personal initiatives.

• Fluent in written and spoken English.

• Plus: exceptional skills in prototyping, illustration, animation, or motion design.

• Plus: experience with social or viral product mechanics.

• Plus: background in consumer companies like Spotify or Strava.

• Plus: experience as an early-stage or founding designer.

• Plus: familiarity with coding for prototyping or front-end refinement.
