Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

• Champion design excellence across product initiatives, not merely individual features.

• Confidently balance user requirements, business objectives, and technical limitations.

• Shape product direction using user insights and sound product judgement.

• Enhance our operational processes, rituals, and decision-making practices.

• Function as a contemporary designer: AI-savvy, technically inquisitive, and responsible for the quality of user experiences.

• Convert product requirements into clear and elegant design solutions from discovery to delivery.

• Execute end-to-end design processes: research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, and handoff.

• Uphold a high and intentional quality standard, making explicit trade-offs when speed, scope, or MVP delivery are at stake.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to define, iterate, and deliver within set timelines.

• Create product experiences that inform, educate, and promote the adoption of our unique selling proposition (USP).

• Facilitate in-product onboarding, guidance, feature discovery, and expansion flows that enable users to derive value without manual assistance.

• Leverage product data, customer feedback, and stakeholder insights to pinpoint opportunities for enhancing usability, engagement, and conversion.

• Maintain and expand components of the design system to ensure both scalability and usability.

• Foster consistency across the product and related materials, including those for Marketing, Sales, and internal tools.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven history of delivering high-quality digital products in startup or scale-up settings.

• Proficient throughout the full design cycle: discovery, research, information architecture, interaction design, UI, prototyping, and delivery.

• Exceptional product judgement: capable of simplifying complexity and making astute trade-offs.

• High craft standards with the ability to accelerate progress without compromising quality.

• Strong communication and facilitation skills: adept at aligning stakeholders and clearly articulating decisions.

• Comfortable collaborating deeply with Engineering and Product, particularly in ambiguous problem domains.

• Practical understanding of AI, with specific examples of integrating AI into your design process (both professional and self-directed examples are welcome).

• Inquisitiveness and confidence in approaching implementation, whether through prototypes, design systems, agent-assisted coding, or minor production enhancements.
