Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +5 more states.

📋 Description

• Advocate for addressing user challenges: User needs are central to our efforts. You remain attuned to the requirements of both collectors and sellers.

• Design comprehensively with teams: Engage in all phases from exploration and research to creating high-fidelity Figma prototypes and interactive mockups.

• Enhance UX and visual aesthetics: Integrate Discogs' refreshed brand identity with UX best practices to craft user-friendly and efficient flows.

• Collaborate and refine: Partner closely with PMs, engineers, and fellow designers to ensure both technical feasibility and harmony across the product experience.

• Balance efficiency and excellence: Effectively manage your time, prioritize impactful tasks, and produce polished results.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited four-year institution, or equivalent professional experience.

• Over 4 years of experience in Product or UX design, along with a robust portfolio showcasing delivered work (Figma is highly preferred).

• Practical experience in contributing to a design system — not merely utilizing one.
