Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the design process from start to finish for impactful product areas, beginning with initial concepts and culminating in polished execution.

• Utilize robust interaction design, visual design, and information architecture principles to address genuine issues faced by contractors in their work.

• Assist in establishing new interaction patterns for agentic and AI-driven experiences, moving beyond traditional "screen in, screen out" paradigms.

• Create sketches, prototypes, and test concepts at various fidelity levels to swiftly validate decisions.

• Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to align objectives, expedite processes, and deliver high-quality solutions.

• Clearly articulate design decisions, welcome feedback, and actively engage in design critiques.

• Contribute to our design system, ensuring it remains consistent, scalable, and genuinely beneficial.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Product Designer, preferably with a background in launching complex, high-quality features for SaaS products.

• Proven design expertise: you recognize what exceptional design entails and strive to elevate your work to that standard.

• Strong skills in both interaction design and visual design, capable of working across desktop, mobile, and emerging AI-driven platforms.

• Ability to strike a balance between speed and detail: knowing when to move quickly and when to focus on achieving perfection.

• Comfort in managing the entire process, from overarching systems thinking to the minutiae of interaction details.

• Experience in creating prototypes to convey ideas effectively.

• Solid grasp of user-centered design principles with the ability to apply them successfully.

• Experience working collaboratively across product and engineering teams.

• Knowledge of accessibility best practices and inclusive design methodologies.

• Enthusiasm for integrating AI into your design process and for creating agentic experiences where AI plays an active role in the product, rather than merely being an additional feature.
