This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Collaborate with International Product, Marketing, Consumer Insights, and Engineering teams to establish the UX/UI strategy for key growth markets.
• Lead product experimentation by utilizing customer insights, market data, and user behaviors to develop localized product offerings.
• Champion the needs of international customers by modifying workflows, visual hierarchies, and interaction models to meet regional and cultural expectations.
• Develop wireframes, rapid prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for A/B tests, localized MVPs, and market-specific feature deployments.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, UX Research, and Marketing teams to align priorities and implement pilots and releases.
• Create scalable UI frameworks suitable for diverse markets and languages, accommodating text expansion and right-to-left formatting.
• Leverage qualitative research and quantitative experiment metrics to validate design choices and enhance the international user experience.
• Actively pursuing a Master of Design (MDes), MFA, or PhD in HCI, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Fine Arts, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with backgrounds in Business or Economics possessing relevant UX/product design experience are encouraged to apply.
• Currently an active graduate student enrolled in an accredited degree program.
• Previous internship, industry experience, or academic research focusing on UX/UI design and/or interactive product experimentation is highly preferred.
• Proficient in designing for international audiences, taking into account cultural nuances, localized behaviors, and the impact of language translation on interfaces.
• Experience in conducting rapid, iterative product experiments, A/B testing, and optimizing for growth.
• High proficiency in industry-standard design and prototyping tools like Figma.
• Understanding of how to translate designs into responsive code.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to collaborate with both technical and business stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
• Must be available for part-time work over a six-month period.
• Flexible work location: nearest office, home, or a hybrid of both, subject to location restrictions.
