This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and guide intricate, high-profile initiatives throughout all project phases, managing competing priorities, timelines, and resources while ensuring alignment with the firm's product roadmap and strategic goals.
• Act as a key representative for significant firm-level projects, representing the department across Wealth Management, Operations, IT, and other divisions. Provide expertise and support for complex projects and enhancements to D.A. Davidson's platforms and tools.
• Collaborate with the Manager and stakeholders to synchronize priorities with D.A. Davidson’s product roadmap and gather feedback. Convey product strategy to senior leadership.
• Direct the evaluation, planning, and prioritization of releases with the advisory team and manager to address issues and meet firm objectives efficiently.
• Prioritize tasks in accordance with enterprise, division, and product strategies. Clearly communicate the rationale and implications of prioritization decisions.
• Work alongside business stakeholders to understand branch and operational needs and convert them into precise application, workflow, and operational requirements.
• Collect and assess requirements through interviews, documentation review, surveys, and workflow analysis to uncover genuine business needs and guarantee successful project execution.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate and present technical requirements and dependencies effectively, whether in person, online, or over the phone.
• Collaborate intimately with IT, developers, and external vendors to uphold platform stability, manage incidents and issues to ensure seamless daily operations, define technical objectives, and balance usability with performance.
• Serve as the primary contact with external software vendors for defining requirements, resolving issues, and facilitating ongoing platform enhancements.
• Lead the creation and upkeep of training resources, procedural documentation, and continuous training for the internal D.A. Davidson team.
• Undertake additional responsibilities and special projects as needed.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or a similar certification is preferred.
• 2-3 years of relevant business experience.
• Previous experience or working knowledge of the securities industry.
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of iterative development, software development processes, and procedures.
• Proficiency in the principles of Product Management, stakeholder management, market and user research, technology management, and process design.
• Proven ability to develop business cases, roadmaps, and product execution strategies for complex or large-scope products and integrations.
• Strong analytical skills, product management acumen, and attention to detail.
• Logical problem solver with the capability to adapt in a high-impact environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft 365 suite, particularly with CoPilot AI.
• Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and expertise to uphold D.A. Davidson's culture, values, and mission.
• Ability to adhere to policies and procedures, maintain client confidentiality, and ensure regular and predictable attendance.
