Product Compliance, Testing Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Oversee product testing, approvals, certifications, and performance documentation for both new and existing products.

• Organize product testing for new items, modifications, and ongoing product demands.

• Create and uphold product testing priorities and roadmaps.

• Manage the maintenance and renewal processes for product approvals and certifications.

• Monitor testing, certification, and approval statuses throughout the product portfolio.

• Coordinate documentation for codes and compliance.

• Maintain documentation regarding technical product performance.

• Assist in the development and upkeep of product specifications.

• Validate claims related to technical product performance.

• Review product literature and marketing materials to ensure technical accuracy.

• Facilitate new product launches by determining testing, approval, certification, and documentation necessities.

• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management to identify testing requirements arising from product modifications.

• Act as a resource for product management regarding product performance documentation, approvals, and certifications.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction, or a related technical field is preferred.

• Capability to interpret technical test reports, specifications, standards, and product requirements.

• Strong organizational abilities to manage various testing and approval activities.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

• Proficient in communicating technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Experience with building products, metal roofing/wall systems, or other code-regulated manufactured products is preferred.

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
