Product Compliance Counsel

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Malta, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and authorize product specifications for websites and mobile applications.

• Identify compliance risks associated with product features, user journeys, monetization strategies, and platform requirements.

• Engage in product compliance audits and incident response activities.

• Analyze marketing materials and campaigns for adherence to relevant laws and platform standards.

• Provide guidance to Marketing teams regarding advertising, consumer protection, and promotional claims.

• Take part in marketing compliance audits and the execution of corrective measures.

• Keep track of legislative and regulatory changes in pertinent jurisdictions and evaluate their implications for products and business operations.

• Relay regulatory updates and assist in the implementation of necessary modifications.

• Monitor developments in sanctions-related regulations.

• Aid in the enforcement of internal sanctions controls.

• Collaborate in the creation and delivery of compliance training sessions and onboarding resources.

• Develop and maintain internal compliance documentation, playbooks, and knowledge repositories.

• Assess AI-enabled products, features, and third-party AI integrations for compliance with applicable legal standards.

• Assist in conducting AI risk assessments and the establishment of AI governance protocols.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Law.

• Familiarity with consumer protection regulations in the EU and the USA.

• Understanding of marketing and advertising compliance laws in the EU and the US.

• Knowledge of EU and US digital legislation, including AI governance.

• Awareness of Apple Store and Google Play guidelines.

• Proficient English language communication skills, both written and verbal (B2+).
