This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Designs and executes architectural solutions tailored for specific products.
• Collaborates with engineering teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and technical standards.
• Develops and directs the implementation of product architectures.
• Offers expertise on architecture-related issues and decisions.
• Partners with engineering and product teams to guarantee alignment with technical specifications.
• Implements and advocates for innovative architectural practices.
• Assists in establishing and maintaining architectural standards and best practices.
• Ensures comprehensive documentation of architectural designs.
• Works closely with Quality Assurance teams and engages in QA activities as required.
• Conducts code reviews, manages pull requests, and ensures compliance with coding standards.
• Participates in both internal and external product support when necessary.
• Engages in Agile ceremonies and contributes to iterative development processes.
• Prototypes and validates proposed architectural solutions to assess feasibility, performance, and scalability prior to full-scale implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7-9 years of experience in software engineering or a related area.
• Demonstrated thought leadership, advanced strategic and technical expertise, and exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
• Strong leadership in technical decision-making, advanced coding capabilities, and in-depth knowledge of system architecture.
• Ability to innovate at a high level, lead large-scale projects, and mentor senior team members.
• Capacity to guide senior engineers, oversee architectural decisions, and collaborate on extensive projects.
• Mastery of industry trends, company strategy, and future direction.
• Expertise in system performance, scalability, and sound software design principles.
• Familiarity with the following technologies and concepts is a significant advantage: OpenSearch, Apache Kafka, MongoDB, Node.js, Spring Boot microservices, event-driven architecture, high-volume external data integrations, and cryptography or analysis of cryptographic data.
