• Collaborate with Sales and Account Managers to identify and prioritize technical service requirements, aiding in both account retention and the pursuit of new business opportunities.
• Deliver practical technical expertise through plant evaluations, jar testing, and trial support to enhance customer solutions and stimulate growth.
• Oversee the strategy, development, and performance of wastewater product lines to adapt to changing application requirements.
• Manage the product lifecycle and profitability, encompassing formulations, pricing, margin optimization, and the development of new products (Optiva projects).
• Sustain and continuously enhance the Water Treatment Product Resource Master to guarantee precision and accessibility.
• Work in collaboration with Purchasing to optimize inventory levels, minimize costs, and improve product performance, including the identification of alternative suppliers.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with chemical suppliers to procure innovative and cost-efficient solutions.
• Serve as a crucial liaison among internal teams (Technical Center, Equipment Group, Purchasing, Product Information) to synchronize resources and provide seamless support.
• Assist Sales with technical insights for proposals and service reporting to bolster customer value propositions.
• Efficiently manage time, priorities, and service schedules to offer responsive and impactful technical support.
• Advocate for Hydrite’s Standard of Excellence, ensuring high-quality service for both internal and external customers.
• A four-year technical degree is required (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering).
• Preferred three years of industry experience, particularly in the selection and testing of various coagulant and polymer blends for diverse wastewater streams.
• Must be self-driven and possess exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sales aptitude, and technical competence in wastewater chemical applications are necessary.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to present to groups and communicate effectively with customers and Account Managers, are essential.
• Capability to gather information and make timely decisions is required.
• Strong computer proficiency and knowledge of PowerPoint, Word, and Excel are necessary.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently, are essential.
