Product & Application Expert – Separation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a subject matter expert in separation equipment products and their applications.

• Identify and deliver effective solutions for technical challenges during the sales process.

• Improve offerings through training sessions and condition assessments.

• Collaborate with Service Sales and Field Service to implement value-added services.

• Assist Service Sales as a technical partner and facilitate sales efforts.

• Provide support to customers through site visits, meetings, product demonstrations, and tailored value propositions.

• Design and execute training programs for employees, partners, and customers.

• Lead the introduction of new service products.

• Diagnose intricate technical issues and advocate for Alfa Laval products and their applications.

• Create strategies to evaluate equipment and process reliability.

• Analyze data from connected equipment and propose enhancements.

• Generate leads and opportunities in OneCRM for service-sales follow-ups.

• Familiarize and utilize various Alfa Laval information technology systems.

• Be prepared to travel up to 40% of the time.

⛳️ Requirements

• Diploma or associate degree in engineering or a related field, accompanied by relevant experience.

• Over 5 years of experience with rotating equipment or other related industrial equipment.

• In-depth product knowledge and/or application experience with decanter centrifuges.

• Capability to collect, analyze, and propose solutions to process-related issues.

• Openness to develop innovative ideas and procedures for problem resolution.

• Exceptional customer interaction and engagement abilities.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Proficiency in using and learning service digital tools.

• Team-oriented mindset and the ability to connect with individuals at all levels.

• Well-developed interpersonal skills with the capability to collaborate with international colleagues.

• Proven ability in troubleshooting and problem-solving.

• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.

• Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting.

• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

• Organized and structured in approach.

• Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.

• Preference given to candidates currently residing in the United States or having an established presence in the region.
