
Product & Application Expert β Separation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Act as a subject matter expert in separation equipment products and their applications.
β’ Identify and deliver effective solutions for technical challenges during the sales process.
β’ Improve offerings through training sessions and condition assessments.
β’ Collaborate with Service Sales and Field Service to implement value-added services.
β’ Assist Service Sales as a technical partner and facilitate sales efforts.
β’ Provide support to customers through site visits, meetings, product demonstrations, and tailored value propositions.
β’ Design and execute training programs for employees, partners, and customers.
β’ Lead the introduction of new service products.
β’ Diagnose intricate technical issues and advocate for Alfa Laval products and their applications.
β’ Create strategies to evaluate equipment and process reliability.
β’ Analyze data from connected equipment and propose enhancements.
β’ Generate leads and opportunities in OneCRM for service-sales follow-ups.
β’ Familiarize and utilize various Alfa Laval information technology systems.
β’ Be prepared to travel up to 40% of the time.
β’ Diploma or associate degree in engineering or a related field, accompanied by relevant experience.
β’ Over 5 years of experience with rotating equipment or other related industrial equipment.
β’ In-depth product knowledge and/or application experience with decanter centrifuges.
β’ Capability to collect, analyze, and propose solutions to process-related issues.
β’ Openness to develop innovative ideas and procedures for problem resolution.
β’ Exceptional customer interaction and engagement abilities.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
β’ Proficiency in using and learning service digital tools.
β’ Team-oriented mindset and the ability to connect with individuals at all levels.
β’ Well-developed interpersonal skills with the capability to collaborate with international colleagues.
β’ Proven ability in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
β’ Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
β’ Familiarity with electrical troubleshooting.
β’ Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
β’ Organized and structured in approach.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 40% of the time.
β’ Preference given to candidates currently residing in the United States or having an established presence in the region.
