Product Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Transform product strategy into actionable, build-ready tasks.

• Define product requirements, establish acceptance criteria, and identify edge cases.

• Create clear, self-sufficient tickets for developers.

• Collaborate directly with engineers to clarify and enhance the scope.

• Assist the Product Manager in prioritizing the backlog based on effort, dependencies, and impact.

• Ensure a well-maintained, organized backlog and transparent delivery status.

• Collect and organize feedback from internal teams and clients.

• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and retrospective meetings.

• Monitor delivery against set expectations.

• Convert product direction into detailed requirements, tickets, and prioritized delivery schedules.

• Facilitate connections among product, engineering, commercial, and client-facing teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in a product analyst, associate product manager, business analyst, or delivery-oriented role, preferably in a data or SaaS setting.

• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to clarify complex requirements.

• Capability to work closely with engineers and bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Methodical, detail-oriented, and organized in approach.

• Strong judgement in prioritization and trade-offs.

• Familiarity with ticketing/backlog management tools such as Jira and product delivery processes.

• Bonus: experience in payments, fintech, financial data, or cross-border payments.

• Bonus: knowledge of data investigation and data pipelines.

• Bonus: understanding of JSON/REST APIs and microservices architecture.

• Bonus: experience collaborating with client-facing or commercial teams.

• Availability to work typical Monday-Friday, 9-5 GMT/BST hours.
