• Serve as a representative of Pella Corporation’s esteemed brand, products, and services across regional ProDealer accounts.
• Build and nurture relationships while influencing and training customer representatives.
• Collaborate with assigned accounts to motivate sales staff to exceed established sales targets within the territory.
• Possess knowledge of fundamental residential and commercial construction, along with a general understanding of window and door products.
• Educate and position yourself as the fenestration authority for designated accounts and customers, with comprehensive insights into the competitive landscape.
• Accurately interpret, analyze, and extract information from blueprints to assist customers in establishing and expanding their new construction builder business.
• Proven track record of fostering strong business relationships within accounts, coupled with the ability to cultivate and sustain personal connections with customers.
• Mentor and train others on effective selling techniques and product knowledge.
• Lead planning meetings that yield actionable strategies to achieve sales objectives.
• Maintain regular communication with Sales Management and Marketing, providing valuable input and feedback regarding products, programs, and policies.
• Create Business Plans with accounts aimed at enhancing sales performance and achieving sales targets.
• Support accounts in building relationships with builders to seize new business opportunities.
• Represent Pella at trade shows and industry events.
• Manage a personal budget related to travel and training expenses.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns to maximize satisfaction within Pella’s business guidelines.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or five to ten years of relevant experience in the construction industry; or a comparable combination of education and experience.
