This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the daily purchasing operations for robotic systems, components, and associated materials across a diverse supplier network.

• Collaborate closely with contract manufacturers and key suppliers to ensure effective order execution, material availability, capacity, and delivery performance.

• Work in partnership with Planning, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Strategic Sourcing to synchronize supply requirements with production and project necessities.

• Track supplier performance and provide prompt visibility into material status, shortages, delivery risks, and recovery strategies.

• Accelerate the procurement of critical materials and motivate suppliers to address delivery, quality, pricing, and capacity challenges.

• Assist in supplier negotiations, cost-reduction strategies, and commercial discussions in collaboration with sourcing and category leadership.

• Manage purchasing implications related to engineering changes, demand fluctuations, and evolving program specifications.

• Identify supply chain risks and proactively escalate issues while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate resolution.

• Evaluate purchasing and supplier data to uncover opportunities for enhancing cost efficiency, delivery timelines, inventory management, and overall supplier performance.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a comparable field.

• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a related area.

• Proven experience working with complex suppliers, contract manufacturers, or outsourced manufacturing partners.

• Solid understanding of ERP systems and purchase order management; experience with SAP is highly preferred.

• Experience in managing material requirements, supplier delivery timelines, shortages, and order modifications.

• Strong skills in supplier management, negotiation, and relationship development.

• Capable of working effectively across Engineering, Planning, Operations, Quality, Finance, and other cross-functional teams.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience in supporting robotics, electronics, electromechanical products, automation equipment, or other complex manufactured items is advantageous.

• Up to 10% travel may be necessary.
