Procurement Professional II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Align Nielsen's overall strategy with category-specific strategies to provide top-tier products and services at the most efficient cost.

• Oversee strategic procurement efforts, which include evaluating, selecting, and managing externally contracted services.

• Negotiate requirements and stipulations, including terms and conditions, to ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and company policies.

• Act as a reliable partner to stakeholders by pinpointing essential business needs and delivering sourcing services.

• Discover opportunities for new business ventures, process enhancements, and system upgrades.

• Propel reductions in Total Cost of Ownership through comprehensive analytics and leverage supplier capabilities to satisfy business demands.

• Create and implement sourcing strategies for indirect expenditures.

• Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with suppliers.

• Assume full responsibility for key contracts.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement with a demonstrated history of implementing cost-saving measures and achieving successful business results.

• Previous experience in the complete sourcing process (Scoping, SOW Development, Evaluation, Negotiation, and Contract Transition).

• Familiarity with Ariba, P2P platforms, or spend analytics tools.

• Capability to adapt to various cultures and time zones.

• Comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative global setting.

• Proficient in managing multiple high-priority projects concurrently under tight deadlines.

• A genuine interest in procurement and negotiating enterprise agreements with large suppliers.
