This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Slovakia.
• Conducting research to identify potential vendors
• Analyzing and assessing proposals from suppliers
• Monitoring orders to ensure timely delivery
• Fostering and maintaining positive relationships with suppliers or their representatives
• Validating documents essential for accounting processes
• Reviewing supplier contracts, creating necessary documents, and coordinating the document workflow
• Formalizing and validating accounting documents
• Inputting documents into the purchasing system
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly closing reports
• Collaborating with stakeholders to enhance processes
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a buyer role (or closely related experience)
• Previous experience in Accounting or Finance is preferred
• Degree in Administration, Accounting, or Economics
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google applications)
• Strong command of English in both written and spoken forms
• Excellent Slovak language skills in writing and speaking
• Experience in direct/indirect purchases in the Slovak market
• Moderate knowledge of finance and accounting practices
• Capability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, along with contract reading and negotiation skills
• Proactive, quick learner with a keen attention to detail and the ability to take initiative
