This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Assist in the effective management, preparation, and analysis of contracts and procurement agreements.
• Leverage knowledge of efficient procurement processes, market research, and sound business management to ensure the timely provision of goods and services to customers.
• Implement innovative strategies that optimize cost and time in decision-making during the acquisition process.
• Develop a contracting strategy that best meets the requirements.
• Identify the most suitable type of contract for the specific requirement.
• Conduct cost and price analysis throughout the contracting lifecycle.
• Maintain communication with contractors to clarify contractual obligations and facilitate problem resolution.
• Collaborate with legal, finance, and other departments to ensure adherence to legal and regulatory standards.
• Oversee contract execution to guarantee that obligations are fulfilled.
• Offer training and support on contract-related matters to team members and staff.
• Work together with internal stakeholders across various departments to ensure contracts are in alignment with business goals.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education.
• A Master’s Degree or Juris Doctorate along with FAC-C Professional, DAWIA Level II or III, or a comparable qualification is preferred.
• At least five (5) years of experience in contract management, encompassing principles, contractual terms, pricing structures, pricing tools and data systems, negotiation, project support, finance, contracting, or proposals.
• Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally.
• Demonstrated strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proven capability to prioritize multiple demands and meet set deadlines and commitments.
• Exhibited leadership qualities and the capacity to manage various priorities under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
