• This newly established role is impactful and aimed at expanding Nielsen’s procurement operations on a global scale.

• In your position as a Procurement Professional, you will play a crucial role in improving long-term profitability and facilitating sustainable growth while adeptly managing global risks.

• Your responsibilities will go beyond merely generating reports; you will formulate and implement sourcing strategies for indirect spending, foster strategic supplier partnerships, and maintain complete oversight of essential contracts.

• We are looking for a proficient analyst capable of navigating change and leading the evaluation, selection, and negotiation of external service providers.

• Strategic Alignment: Synchronize Nielsen's enterprise strategy with category strategies to deliver top-tier products and services at the most competitive costs.

• Sourcing Leadership: Spearhead strategic procurement efforts, including the evaluation, selection, and oversight of externally contracted services.

• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate requirements and provisions (terms and conditions) to ensure full compliance with laws, regulations, and corporate policies.

• Business Partnership: Act as a trusted partner to stakeholders, identifying essential business needs and delivering sourcing services that surpass expectations.

• Process Improvement: Actively seek opportunities for new business, process enhancement, and system upgrades to boost organizational efficiency.

• Data-Driven Insights: Achieve reductions in Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) through comprehensive analytics and utilize supplier capabilities to fulfill business requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• 3–5 years of experience in procurement with a demonstrated history of implementing cost-saving initiatives and achieving successful business results.

• RFX Management: Prior experience in managing the complete sourcing lifecycle (Scoping, SOW Development, Evaluation, Negotiation, and Contract Transition).

• Technical Savvy: Familiarity with Ariba, P2P platforms, or spend analytics tools.

• Global Mindset: Ability to adapt to various cultures and time zones; comfortable working in a dynamic, collaborative global environment.

• Multitasking: Essential capability to juggle multiple high-priority projects concurrently under tight deadlines.

• Passion: A sincere interest in the procurement field and negotiating enterprise agreements with large suppliers.
