Procurement Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Provide a comprehensive end-to-end tendering service by collaborating closely with colleagues and suppliers to achieve compliant and value-driven results.

• Oversee procurement activities for goods, services, and works, including building safety, compliance, repairs, investment projects, and sustainability efforts.

• Create tender documentation, such as Invitations to Tender (ITTs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), evaluation criteria, and supporting materials.

• Assist in early market engagement and foster supplier relationships while promoting the Stonewater brand.

• Offer guidance to stakeholders on procurement best practices and informed commercial decision-making.

• Ensure adherence to internal Standing Orders and the Procurement Act 2023.

• Support contract award processes, encompassing approvals, notifications, and supplier debriefs.

• Integrate social value, equality, diversity, and environmental sustainability into procurement activities.

• Maintain thorough audit trails, assist in value-for-money assessments, and contribute to ongoing improvements.

• A solid understanding of the Procurement Act 2023 (or its predecessor legislation).

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Keen attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.

• Capacity to analyze and manage data from various sources.

• Self-assured in working independently and handling competing priorities.

• A collaborative mindset with robust stakeholder management skills and a customer-focused approach.

• Desirable: CIPS Level 3 (Advanced Certificate in Procurement and Supply Chain) or higher.
