Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Oversee the sourcing and procurement of materials and services for DoD, FMS, and DCS clientele.

• Manage supplier performance and the complete purchase order lifecycle, including supplier development, solicitations, awards, post-award management, and closure.

• Foster supplier relationships that support factory material requirements.

• Prepare and issue requests for proposals.

• Issue medium-complexity purchase orders in adherence to FAR/DFAR and corporate guidelines.

• Assist in negotiation strategies and formal negotiations that encompass price, delivery, scope, and terms and conditions.

• Conduct price and cost analyses for proposals.

• Maintain professional business relationships with first-tier subcontractors.

• Collaborate with Program, Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Program Management teams.

• Ensure purchase orders are updated to provide accurate and timely supplier delivery information.

• Travel as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in a related field with at least 5 years of experience.

• Background in procurement, supply chain management, management, finance, or a comparable position.

• U.S. Person status (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or the ability to obtain required export authorizations.

• Experience in an SAP/PRISM-based environment is preferred.

• Familiarity with reviewing technical requirements for procured hardware and services, including Statements of Work, is preferred.

• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS) is preferred.

• Experience with written contractual authorizations/vehicles such as Cost Plus and Firm Fixed Price is preferred.
