Procurement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Negotiate and manage various types of subcontracts, including but not limited to, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, Time and Materials, as well as development/R&D initiatives.

• Assess, identify, and choose suppliers that fulfill Raytheon’s criteria.

• Cultivate business partnerships with suppliers.

• Create and negotiate Long Term Price Agreements and other associated contracts.

• Collaborate closely with representatives from the Program Office and Engineering to define and execute procurement strategies, along with drafting subcontract Statements of Work.

• Request competitive and single/sole source proposals from potential subcontractors, conduct source selection analysis, and apply price and cost analysis methods to determine fair and reasonable pricing.

• Track subcontractor performance metrics and recommend/implement corrective actions when necessary.

• Prepare subcontract documentation in compliance with established company policies, as well as customer and government FAR and DFAR regulations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience.

• Proficiency in using SAP software applications.

• U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or eligible to acquire the necessary export authorizations.

• Demonstrated experience in leading formal negotiations (price, schedule, and supplier exceptions to contractual flow downs).

• Capability to obtain and maintain DOD Secret Clearance.

• Experience in interpreting and comprehending drawing specifications.

• Background in supplier management.

• Familiarity with FAR and DFAR regulations.

• Experience in delivering presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders.

• Proven track record of leading executive and program-level supplier reviews.

• NCMA Certification.

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance.
