This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Serve as the main procurement representative for designated business platform(s).
• Align procurement strategies and goals with the priorities of the business platform.
• Champion and facilitate the execution of Global Procurement Category Strategies.
• Influence both direct and indirect category strategies to effectively address business needs.
• Assist with IV set remediation initiatives, ensuring that sourcing strategies comply with quality, cost, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate on ideation and pipeline development for initiatives focused on Cost to Win and value creation.
• Partner with and co-lead supplier negotiations in collaboration with Global Category Managers.
• Work alongside Procurement Centers of Excellence to carry out RFx activities, auctions, contracts, and related sourcing processes.
• Utilize dashboards, reports, and analytics to support data-driven decision-making and performance monitoring.
• Identify and cultivate suppliers to enhance Best Country Sourcing initiatives.
• Lead the creation and implementation of supplier capacity management programs to ensure a steady supply of critical components.
• Act as the leader for the Supplier Risk Program, including the ideation and cross-functional implementation of mitigation strategies.
• Take charge of coordinating supplier excellence activities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Industrial Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Comprehensive business knowledge and acumen.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing or category management with a proven track record of successful implementation.
• Experience in supplier value management, supplier development, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to effectively advocate for global change and innovation.
• Experience working and influencing within a highly matrixed organization.
• Proficient in building partnerships.
• A demonstrated history of developing programs and collaborating with others to achieve shared outcomes.
