Procurement Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Procurement Lead is responsible for generating and executing effective sourcing and category management strategies.

• Oversee our supply portfolio to ensure clarity in spending.

• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory requirements.

• Reconcile vendor purchases with invoices, validating pricing and adherence to contracts.

• Monitor sales and profit margins through vendor negotiations and promotional opportunities.

• Engage with pharmaceutical companies for drug procurement.

• Provide strategic advice to executives on significant matters.

• Utilize independent judgment to address complex issues related to job responsibilities and associated tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in procurement sourcing, supply chain, vendor management, or contracting.

• Proficient in sourcing with RFI/RFQ/RFP methodologies.

• Skilled in negotiations with third parties.

• Experience in developing category strategies.

• Capable of conducting financial analyses to support business proposals.

• Proven ability to partner with and present to leadership.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including assertiveness, courage, and the ability to influence stakeholders.

• Strong relationship management skills, showcasing mature confidence and integrity.

• Business analysis capabilities to implement sourcing programs and services that align with business partner strategies.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently, both as a leader and as part of a team.

• Capacity to collaborate effectively within a team environment, gathering and acting on feedback from all levels within the business and sourcing contexts.
