Procurement Data Migration Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Identify, extract, and gather procurement-related data from D365.

• Clean, validate, interpret, and translate data to facilitate migration into SAP.

• Analyze procurement and master data objects to evaluate migration readiness.

• Validate supplier, material, and purchasing relationships and their dependencies.

• Identify discrepancies between legacy D365 processes and target SAP processes.

• Assess data quality, defects, and potential impacts on migration.

• Provide business context and clarification regarding legacy D365 data and fields.

• Assist business stakeholders and SMEs with data-related inquiries throughout the migration process.

• Prepare and maintain structured Excel-based data migration templates and documentation.

• Support the broader data migration team with preparation and readiness activities.

• Ensure procurement data is comprehensive, accurate, and properly mapped for the SAP environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, especially in Product Lifecycle and/or Operations modules.

• Solid understanding of D365 Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes.

• Significant experience with ERP data migration and data conversion.

• Familiarity with procurement and purchasing master data.

• Strong grasp of Master Data Governance and Data Stewardship principles.

• Proven expertise in data cleansing, validation, and data quality management.

• Deep understanding of how master data attributes influence business and operational processes.

• Experience in business analysis and process design.

• Ability to comprehend complex legacy data and translate it into a target ERP environment.

• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in working with structured data templates.

• Excellent communication abilities and capacity to collaborate with business stakeholders and SMEs.

• Desirable: prior experience with SAP S/4HANA master data.

• Desirable: experience in supporting D365-to-SAP migrations.

• Desirable: knowledge of SAP procurement processes and master data.

• Desirable: experience in large-scale ERP transformation programs.

• Desirable: experience in complex or regulated enterprise environments.
