This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of procurement strategies tailored to specific categories.
• Aid in managing critical spending categories by coordinating supplier activities, conducting spend analysis, and supporting sourcing efforts.
• Formulate and execute procurement strategies at the category level, emphasizing cost efficiency, service quality, and risk management.
• Aid in the assessment, selection, and continuous management of suppliers within designated categories.
• Perform spend analysis and supplier evaluations to uncover trends, identify savings opportunities, and recommend process enhancements.
• Implement sourcing initiatives, including RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure category strategies align with business objectives.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Over 3 years of experience in procurement, category coordination, vendor management, or sourcing.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is preferred.
• Preferred analytical experience in supporting supplier assessments and spend reporting.
• Experience in spend analysis and category management is favored.
• Familiarity with e-procurement platforms and tools is advantageous.
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to convert data and insights into effective category strategies and sourcing recommendations.
