This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Develop and execute thorough sourcing procedures that fulfill contractual obligations necessitating competitive bidding for all trades exceeding account-directed clip levels in the Americas.
• Create standardized workflows for sourcing events from initiation to vendor selection and contract awarding.
• Design sourcing event templates, evaluation criteria, bid packages, and selection methodologies tailored for different trade types.
• Establish clear timelines and milestones for sourcing activities that are in sync with project schedules.
• Oversee 150-500 sourcing events each year (3-10 per project across approximately 50 projects) with efficiency and reliability.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive vendor library that includes all design and construction vendors across North and South America in key client regions.
• Utilize existing tools for vendor prequalification processes, including financial assessments, insurance verification, safety record evaluations, and capability assessments.
• Set up a regular reporting schedule (monthly, quarterly, or as needed) featuring consistent formats and metrics.
• Ensure all sourcing activities adhere to contractual obligations, client policies, and JLL standards.
• Perform periodic audits of sourcing processes and vendor documentation to guarantee compliance and quality.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of progressive procurement or sourcing experience, ideally in construction, corporate real estate, or professional services.
• Demonstrated success in managing high-volume sourcing operations with evident process discipline and scalability.
• Extensive knowledge of construction trades, subcontracting practices, and vendor management.
• Experience in developing vendor prequalification programs, performance management systems, and contractor databases.
• Strong grasp of competitive bidding processes, evaluation methodologies, and selection best practices.
• Expertise in creating procurement reports and dashboards for executive and client audiences.
• Experience collaborating with client procurement organizations and establishing trusted advisor relationships.
• Knowledge of construction contracting, insurance requirements, and risk allocation.
• Proficient in procurement software, vendor management systems, and data analysis tools, preferably Jaggaer and Aravo.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with reporting/analytics platforms.
• Understanding of procurement regulations, compliance requirements, and ethical sourcing principles.
