Procurement Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Formulating and executing procurement strategies that are in line with the company's goals.

• Overseeing the solicitation procedure, which includes evaluating specifications and costs, and, when necessary, assisting in negotiations with vendors to achieve cost reductions.

• Negotiating terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the most favorable prices and agreements.

• Creating tools and processes that enhance the efficiency and quality of procurement activities.

• Keeping abreast of the latest market trends and developments within the industry.

• Spearheading transformational initiatives to strengthen organizational procurement capabilities and enhance procurement efficiency.

• Delivering value and a competitive edge as assessed by cost reductions, avoidance of costs, vendor-driven innovation, and risk management.

• Ensuring adherence to compliance in the purchasing process, particularly regarding vendor selection and bidding.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, economics, or a related field, or an equivalent international qualification.

• At least five years of professional experience in life sciences procurement and outsourcing.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, etc.).

• Familiarity with purchasing policies, processes, and procedures.

• Knowledge and capability to negotiate optimal vendor terms and pricing.

• Experience in clinical trial procurement and operations of contract research organizations.

• Procurement and Supply Chain certifications.

• Experience in managing and developing staff.
