This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Assist in business administration and pre-procurement planning.
• Create, prepare, and present terms and conditions in proposals related to contract awards.
• Offer advice, recommendations, and document preparation support during the acquisition pre-award phase.
• Draft SOWs, PWSs, SOOs, acquisition strategy support, cost estimates, market research, quality assurance plans, and RFPs/RFQs.
• Aid technical offices in both formal and informal source selection and vendor screening processes.
• Prepare, submit, and monitor WCF procurement packages.
• Collaborate with Service Owners to validate requirements and request and obtain quotes.
• Prepare and submit 508 / 508 Exception, ITAR, and 186 documents.
• Submit packages to the SDS Budget.
• Update and maintain departmental policies and procedures, integrating changes into SOPs.
• Monitor and track outstanding procurement requests, including item aging and status updates.
• Manage assigned procurements and keep current status information as the primary point of contact.
• Escalate delayed procurements when thresholds or timelines are surpassed.
• Communicate procurement plans and status updates to team members, government management, and team management.
• Prepare and present weekly status reports on Procurement Actions, or as required.
• Assist with asset management and budget-related activities, including recommendations, forecasting, procurement and labor tracking, and invoice processing.
• Minimum of 5 years of total experience.
• 2 to 5 years of specialized experience in federal government contracting.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
• Proven ability to obtain and analyze product and price data for contract negotiations.
• Experience conducting comparative analysis of vendor terms and/or price quotations with historical data.
• Familiarity with contract awards, contract modifications, and/or subcontracts.
• Experience in developing, preparing, and presenting terms and conditions in bids or proposals related to contract awards.
• General administrative experience.
• Background in contract administration and associated workload and documentation.
• Knowledge of FAR and DFARS.
• Comfortable communicating with various federal government agencies and senior leadership.
• Proficient in procurement, labor tracking, and invoice processing.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Capable of performing data research and validating data entries against applicable policies.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
• Competent in managing emergent tasks while maintaining current assignments.
• Skills in data analysis, budget analysis, and problem solving.
• Ability to summarize information in concise reports for use in presentations.
• Excellent customer interface skills.
• Knowledge of IT technologies.
• Ability to obtain a DOJ public trust clearance.
• Must be able to work in a general office environment.
