This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Implement procurement processes, standards, and operational strategies, which encompass RFPs, negotiation preparation, and cost analysis.
• Aid purchasing efforts for goods, materials, supplies, and services while ensuring that terms align with the organization’s best interests.
• Generate purchase orders, assist in payment approvals, and negotiate pricing with general guidance.
• Evaluate supplier quotations, pricing data, financial information, and other pertinent details to support informed pricing decisions.
• Create Requests for Proposal (RFPs), bid packages, and associated procurement documentation for new business ventures.
• Oversee supplier and contract performance to guarantee adherence to contractual obligations and business needs.
• Address customer inquiries regarding order statuses, modifications, cancellations, and other procurement-related issues.
• Liaise with suppliers to coordinate or expedite deliveries and resolve shortages, missed deliveries, and other supply chain challenges.
• Maintain precise procurement records and documentation while fulfilling reporting and administrative requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance procurement processes, supplier performance, and customer satisfaction.
• A University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related discipline with at least 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in the absence of a degree.
• Proven professional or educational experience in communicating fluently in both English and Spanish (Verbal and Written).
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or be eligible to obtain the necessary export authorizations.
• Familiarity with Lean Principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions.
• Proficient in using SAP, especially for MRP-related functions.
• Experience in supplier management, purchasing, sourcing, and procurement lifecycle processes.
• APICS or ISM certification preferred (CPIM, CPM, CSCP, or CPSM).
