Procure to Pay Systems Administrator – Procurement, Contracting & Payment Services

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Supports the administration of applications for P2P systems

• This role involves, but is not limited to, creating and executing test plans, coordinating testing with functional users, and documenting results

• Collaborates with other technical support teams, both internal and external, to deliver solutions to the P2P team and meet customer technology requests and requirements

• Aids in the execution of P2P systems projects

• Assists in identifying functionality challenges, documenting potential resolutions, and liaising with other technical support teams, both internal and external, to offer solutions to the P2P team and its customers' technology requests and needs

• Completes various process enhancement projects leveraging system capabilities

• Aims to optimize P2P business functions and directs all groups to implement and adhere to best practices and workflows

• Provides support and cross-training to other P2P team members in similar business practices and their relation to the systems’ objectives

• Assists in data mining and compilation, as well as report writing

• Contributes to dashboard development across all facets of P2P systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business or a related field

• At least one (1) year of experience in the following areas:

• Proven ability to research, develop, and implement technical solutions to support organizational operations, training, reporting, and archival needs

• Specific experience in designing, configuring business processes, and administering a financial or P2P system

• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

• Capability to engage with all levels of staff across various organizations

• Proficiency in conveying and training complex technical terminology and processes to cross-functional teams

• Ability to interpret and understand documents such as Technical Specifications, Solutions Approach, standards, specifications, reports, etc.

• Proven experience and knowledge of facilities management systems, financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, etc.), e-procurement tools, etc.

• Familiarity with techniques for retrieving, compiling, and integrating data from diverse database sources such as Oracle, SQL, or Microsoft Access

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple work assignments and ensure timely and quality delivery

• Capacity to perform tasks independently, meet specific deadlines, and address challenges associated with these tasks

• Ability to think logically, analyze, and resolve complex issues or problems

• Capability to logically assess and analyze the impact of available options towards resolution

• Proficient in designing reports with analysis that facilitates effective summarization of results

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate within a team environment

• Preferred Qualifications: Graduate degree; experience with an e-procurement tool; experience in BI Publisher Reports customization & development; experience with Workday.
