Processing Associate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Gather, confirm, and organize information from medical provider invoices to prepare source data for computer entry.

• Examine data for inaccuracies or deficiencies, rectify inconsistencies, and assess output.

• Input customer and account details from source documents within designated time frames.

• Enter medical provider invoices into the system to enable the accounting department to generate invoices.

• Manage complex accounts that require critical thinking and analytical capabilities.

• Uphold strict HIPAA compliance concerning customer information.

• Execute basic mathematical calculations to establish appropriate rates for certain medical provider services.

⛳️ Requirements

• A High School diploma or GED is required.

• Some college experience is advantageous.

• Familiarity with medical CPT coding is a plus.

• Previous experience in an office setting is preferred, particularly in a high-volume, customer-focused environment.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.

• Self-driven, able to follow instructions, and capable of working independently.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Outlook is required.

• Excellent typing abilities and comfort with keyboards are necessary, including familiarity with 10-key input.

• Fundamental math skills and the capability to use a calculator are needed.

• A positive attitude and friendly disposition with basic customer service abilities are essential.

• Capacity to manage stressful situations effectively.

• A willingness to learn and advance in the role is required.
