Process Innovation – Design Intern

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Conducting interviews with report authors to gain insights into their actual workflows – contrasting the documented processes with real-life practices.

• Analyzing the existing authoring process and pinpointing areas of significant friction.

• Establishing criteria for what constitutes a "good" AI-generated first draft – and identifying factors that would lead an author to trust or distrust such drafts.

• Designing interactions for human reviewers with AI-generated content: determining what information to display, what to conceal, and how edits should be integrated.

• Collaborating closely with engineering interns to ensure their developments align with the genuine needs of authors.

• Contributing to the formulation of the end-of-summer recommendations from the perspective of the user.

⛳️ Requirements

• High school seniors to rising college juniors who are interested in design, user research, or the practical use of tools they are provided.

• Strong communication skills.
