Process Hazard Analysis Facilitator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Support Process Hazard Analysis studies.

• Prepare, facilitate, and document PHA studies.

• Ensure that PHA scenarios, consequences, safeguards, and recommendations are recorded in the PHA software.

• Write and review technical reports.

• Read and interpret piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID), mechanical drawings, process flow diagrams, etc.

• Conduct PHAs and/or training both in-person and virtually.

• Communicate effectively with clients and the consulting team.

• Perform technical reviews for colleagues.

• Develop and sustain positive client relationships.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Fire Protection) or another safety-related field.

• Formal training in various PHA methodologies and Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) is preferred.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience.

• Experience facilitating PHAs in the Oil & Gas industry is preferred.

• A safety-related designation (CSP, CFEI, CCPSC, PE, etc.) is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in process safety management.

• Strong understanding of safety-related areas such as Process Safety Management (PSM), Risk Management Plan (RMP), combustible dust, chemical reaction hazards, flammable liquids/gases, etc.

• Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations (NFPA, Building & Fire Codes, OSHA, etc.) is preferred.

• Must be able to deliver reports and analysis documents within specified deadlines.
