This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze and interpret healthcare documentation to detect instances of noncompliance with national and state standards.
• Review patient medical records to verify accurate documentation and the proper application of OASIS guidelines.
• Conduct audits, reviews, and inspections of healthcare provider documentation to ensure adherence to compliance and the appropriate application of services.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on audit outcomes, identify trends, and effectively communicate findings.
• Prepare and deliver reports on quality improvement initiatives.
• Present findings and collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Collect and evaluate data to assess the impact of quality improvement activities.
• Utilize expertise in OASIS coding practices.
• Participate in the education and development of healthcare teams to improve understanding and application of OASIS principles.
• Valid Registered Nurse license issued by the state where services will be provided or a current multi-state Registered Nurse license.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
• Home Health OASIS certification (preferred).
• A minimum of three (3) years of healthcare experience, including at least one year in home health.
• Experience in quality improvement, compliance, or a related healthcare role.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and standards.
