Private Equity Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• The Consultant position entails collaborating with consulting teams and clients to design and implement operational and performance enhancement projects of various sizes and complexities across diverse industries.

• Perform comprehensive operational and commercial due diligence for potential manufacturing acquisitions.

• Collaborate with private equity firms and their portfolio company management teams to foster operational enhancements.

• Establish and nurture robust relationships with private equity clients, comprehending their requirements and providing high-quality, actionable insights.

• Oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables from initial scope definition to final presentation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, or related fields.

• An MBA or advanced degree in a pertinent field is strongly preferred.

• At least 2 years of experience in Consulting or Industry; consulting experience is favored.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations Environment, either in Consulting or Industry.

• Experience in Private Equity is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement Tools, such as Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.

• Strong analytical skills and financial modeling expertise.

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.

• Capability to interpret financial statements and P&L.

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of management.
