
Privacy Consultant – Legal, Technical Compliance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Oversee the adherence to and evaluation of data protection and privacy policies, assessments, and privacy risk strategies.
• Assist clients and team members in navigating the legal requirements and intricacies related to operations and documentation.
• Conduct evaluations of technical documentation, including Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), to ensure that security controls and policies are accurately represented and implemented.
• Utilize an understanding of NIST 800-53 to aid system teams in the precise documentation of operations and privacy compliance.
• Supervise the creation and presentation of weekly and monthly reports, encompassing reports, presentations, discussions, and metrics.
• Ensure quality control for assignments by reviewing deliverables, contributing essential content, managing workload to meet deadlines, and guaranteeing client satisfaction.
• Recognize lessons learned and leverage these insights to enhance compliance, solutions, and recommendations.
• BS/BA degree (mandatory).
• CIPP or CIPM certification (preferred).
• Over 4 years of experience in supporting federal privacy programs.
• Exhibit a "can-do" attitude, versatility in roles, and a preference for working in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and excel in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust.
