This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.

📋 Description

• Assist in the operations of US state privacy laws and enhance the client privacy program.

• Aid in the implementation and operationalization of state and federal privacy law requirements.

• Support Data Subject Access Request (DSAR) processes and the resolution of privacy-related issues.

• Ensure the timely fulfillment of consumer privacy requests.

• Collaborate across departments to incorporate privacy practices into business processes and product development.

• Maintain documentation for privacy compliance and support ongoing privacy initiatives.

• Assist in the development and documentation of business requirements pertaining to privacy law compliance.

• Work with Legal, Product, Security, IT, and internal teams to implement privacy requirements.

• Help create privacy training materials, job aids, and presentations.

• Support the implementation of product-related privacy requirements throughout the organization.

• Identify, document, and monitor privacy risks while supporting remediation efforts.

• Participate in Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) reviews and maintain necessary documentation.

• Contribute to privacy-by-design and data governance initiatives.

• Assist with DSAR operations, including request tracking, workflow support, issue resolution, and reporting.

• Aid in the management of privacy complaints and consumer privacy requests.

• Support supplier privacy assessments, questionnaires, and audit activities.

• Maintain documentation, questionnaires, and process materials related to privacy.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and support initiatives for workflow automation.


⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in privacy, compliance, technology, data governance, digital operations, or related areas.

• Preferred experience in supporting consumer privacy request processes (DSARs).

• Familiarity with privacy tools, workflows, and technologies that enable privacy is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Knowledge of privacy regulations, including CCPA and other state privacy laws.

• Understanding of technologies that enable privacy.

• Familiarity with Agile and project management methodologies.

• Ability to translate privacy laws into business requirements effectively.

• Strong skills in multitasking, organization, and attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Customer-focused mindset with strong professional ethics and judgment.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
