Principal Water, Sustainability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee water and sustainability initiatives from initial assessment to full implementation.

• Utilize Apex’s extensive expertise in stormwater management, water supply, and wastewater to pinpoint viable sustainability opportunities.

• Supervise project scope, timeline, budget, and deliverables effectively.

• Convert regulatory mandates and field knowledge into actionable sustainability goals and strategies.

• Act as project manager while fostering long-term client relationships.

• Aid in expanding focus areas by recognizing opportunities and contributing to proposal efforts.

• Represent Apex during client meetings, industry events, and partner collaborations.

• Coordinate cross-disciplinary teams encompassing engineering, field services, and sustainability.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in water resources, water stewardship, water reuse, water efficiency, water risk assessment, or related domains.

• Practical experience in the development and execution of water sustainability programs.

• Proven business development experience and industry connections that can lead to new ventures.

• Capacity to link technical efforts to sustainability results.

• Strong skills in project management and client engagement.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline.
