This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Santa Clara test engineering teams to create production tests for platforms that integrate networking ASICs, microcontrollers, and various other components.

• Lead the development of test architecture, coverage, and failure analysis for intricate hardware platforms.

• Work alongside security teams to embed security requirements into testing methodologies and workflows.

• Manage technical decisions, priorities, and dependencies across multiple teams.

• Collaborate with CPU and GPU test diagnostics teams to leverage software, components, and test flows across L10 and L11 system testing levels.

• Engage in new platform projects from their planning phase and contribute to design and testing decisions.

• Assess and modify existing testing capabilities to minimize redundant development and accelerate production timelines.

• Represent TDE in technical discussions, planning meetings, and review sessions.

• Link colleagues with the information and support necessary to resolve issues.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Information Systems (or equivalent experience).

• Over 15 years of experience in product engineering, including technical leadership in production operations for systems such as PCs, servers, or networking devices.

• Practical experience in developing software and production testing solutions.

• Proven ability to define test strategies that effectively balance coverage, reliability, testing time, and manufacturing needs.

• Experience working directly with contract manufacturers (CMs), joint design manufacturers (JDMs), and original design manufacturers (ODMs).

• Skilled in defining statements of work (SOWs), creating test plans, and coordinating test release deployment at manufacturing sites.

• Proficient in guiding technical decisions and coordinating delivery across engineering and operations teams.

• Capable of articulating technical trade-offs, fostering agreement among teams, and supporting collaboration across different locations and time zones.
