Principal Technical Program Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete execution of critical company programs that involve Core product, AI/ML, Platform, Infrastructure, and Enterprise teams.

• Spearhead the design and implementation of intricate initiatives in uncertain or emerging technology domains; make necessary trade-offs regarding scope, quality, timing, and architectural considerations.

• Establish OKRs, KPIs, and the operational cadence (planning, reviews, retrospectives, executive updates) that ensure a fully distributed engineering organization remains aligned and productive.

• Identify cross-team risks proactively, manage escalations, and guide teams away from previous failure patterns.

• Develop scalable systems and methodologies that remain effective as the engineering organization expands.

• Compose strategy narratives, program plans, and executive memos; present to leaders two to three levels above with the clarity expected at the principal level.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience managing technical programs across cross-functional engineering teams.

• More than 3 years working at a principal or staff level, driving programs that span multiple organizations.

• Proven experience leading complex programs in at least three of the following areas: infrastructure or platform, AI/ML, consumer or frontline products, and enterprise/B2B.

• Experience in defining KPIs and SLAs, as well as reporting program results to executive leadership.
