This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead the integration of DOORS/DOORS Next, Jama, Cameo, Jira, GitLab, TestSTAT, and WebSTAT to achieve comprehensive thread traceability.
• Design and execute the integration between Jama Connect and DOORS/DOORS Next.
• Establish complete traceability from system requirements through architecture, development, verification, and testing outcomes.
• Define and document data mappings, relationships, interfaces, integration protocols, and authoritative data sources.
• Analyze the data structures of Jama and DOORS to facilitate the exchange of requirements, attributes, relationships, and verification data.
• Establish and uphold cross-tool traceability across engineering artifacts.
• Evaluate and implement REST APIs, OSLC, ReqIF, scripting, middleware, or other supported interfaces.
• Define strategies for synchronization, reconciliation, conflict resolution, and error handling.
• Identify and rectify issues related to broken traceability, data inconsistencies, synchronization failures, and coverage gaps.
• Maintain traceability throughout the lifecycle of requirements and engineering artifacts.
• Support the automation of traceability validation, synchronization, reporting, and data quality assessments.
• Conduct change impact and traceability analysis.
• Develop metrics and reports on traceability that illustrate requirements, implementation, and verification coverage.
• Assist in technical reviews with objective evidence linking requirements to verification.
• Document integration architecture, data flows, interfaces, and traceability mechanisms.
• Act as a technical subject matter expert for engineering tool integration and comprehensive thread traceability.
• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
• Over 12 years of relevant systems engineering experience, or 10+ years with a Master's degree.
• Strong practical experience with Jama Connect and DOORS/DOORS Next.
• Experience in integrating requirements management or engineering lifecycle tools, particularly Jama and DOORS.
• Proven experience in establishing end-to-end traceability across requirements, architecture, software development, verification, and testing.
• Familiarity with requirements data models, attributes, relationships, identifiers, and cross-tool data mapping.
• Experience with REST APIs, OSLC, ReqIF, scripting, middleware, or similar mechanisms.
• Proven track record in defining synchronization, data reconciliation, authoritative source, and conflict resolution strategies.
• Experience in troubleshooting integration, synchronization, traceability, and data quality challenges.
• Experience conducting traceability gap, coverage, and change impact analyses.
• Ability to collaborate across systems engineering, architecture, software development, integration, testing, and tool administration teams.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Preferred: experience integrating Cameo, Jira, GitLab, and test/verification tools.
• Preferred: full-thread or digital-thread traceability experience.
• Preferred: familiarity with Jama and DOORS APIs and integration capabilities.
• Preferred: expertise in MBSE/Cameo and requirements-to-model traceability.
• Preferred: experience in scripting or automation for synchronization, validation, and reporting.
• Preferred: experience with safety-critical, mission-critical, or regulated systems.
