Principal Statistician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Provide statistical leadership and expertise across CMC and preclinical projects.

• Design studies and contribute to the development of experimental strategies and hypotheses.

• Conduct comprehensive statistical analyses, including study design, analysis planning, data preparation, analysis, and reporting.

• Create tailored analytical solutions and data analysis pipelines using contemporary statistical and programming tools.

• Utilize advanced statistical methodologies to tackle complex scientific inquiries.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure statistical strategies align with program objectives.

• Discover and implement innovative analytical techniques to improve existing capabilities.

• Communicate risks, challenges, and opportunities that could affect project delivery.

• Work closely with scientists from study design through data interpretation and decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong foundation in statistics.

• Experience in one or more of the following: assay development and analysis, industrial experimental design, pharmaceutical sciences, Bayesian statistics, frequentist statistics, machine learning and artificial intelligence, process development, or manufacturing sciences.

• Experience in one or more valuable areas: signal processing, high-frequency data analysis, electrophysiology, digital health technologies, glucose monitoring data, or high-resolution imaging data analysis.

• Ability to apply quantitative methods to complex scientific and technical challenges.

• Intellectual curiosity and enthusiasm for quantitative methods.

• Proven experience collaborating with multidisciplinary scientists and researchers.
