Principal Specialist, Procurement

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Overseeing supplier interactions and collaborating with Raytheon Program Teams to manage various procurements, including but not limited to build-to-print, performance specifications, and Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs) for medium to high complexity CCA & PWB commodities.

• Identifying and selecting qualified suppliers while exploring alternative suppliers when necessary.

• Developing and managing Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Quotations (RFQ).

• Preparing Purchase Orders (PO) and related documentation in accordance with company policies and Raytheon work instructions.

• Managing POs post-award per company directives and Raytheon work instructions.

• Ensuring suppliers meet program requirements regarding quality and delivery standards.

• Drafting and executing various agreements, including PIAs, Long Term Agreements, Bailment, etc.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience is typically required, or an advanced degree with 3 years of relevant experience.

• Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee, or asylee) or have the ability to obtain the necessary export authorizations.

• Experience in government procurement is a must.

• Proficiency in SAP is required.

• Capability to analyze cost and pricing data and assess proposal compliance (FAR 15.4).

• Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS).

• Ability to comprehend technical requirements for procured hardware and services, including review of Statements of Work (SOW).

• Capacity to multi-task and perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Proven ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with internal customers.
