This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.
• Create detailed test strategies and plans.
• Supervise the development of both automated and manual test cases.
• Organize unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing phases.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to establish test scope, objectives, and success criteria.
• Oversee test environments, data preparation, and execution schedules.
• Facilitate defect triage meetings, ensuring prompt resolution and retesting.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices and the organization's QA standards.
• Provide progress reports and metrics to stakeholders and project leadership.
• Work with business users, consultants, and offshore teams to guarantee test coverage and readiness.
• Propel test progress to align with the overall project timeline.
• Manage resources and allocation, being aware of the test team's workload and potential resource limitations, ensuring optimal utilization throughout the test phase.
• Conduct proactive risk management: identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor potential risks, providing real-time alerts for critical issues.
• Communicate expectations clearly and foster accountability among test team members.
• Resolve conflicts, encourage collaboration, and inspire teams towards shared objectives.
• Oversee multiple testing activities, tasks, and resources through effective prioritization and time management practices to achieve program goals.
• Additional duties include documentation, stakeholder communication, and identifying opportunities for enhancing the quality and efficiency of testing efforts.
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%-50% to various major RTX US locations (e.g., Farmington, Richardson, Cedar Rapids, and Charlotte).
• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field with at least 3 years of experience OR in the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience.
• Practical experience with test management tools such as qTest, ALM, or similar software.
• Proven experience in coordinating cross-functional testing across various workstreams, including the management of onsite and offshore testing teams and harmonizing deliverables.
• Previous involvement in SAP upgrade or implementation projects.
• Familiarity with multiple methodologies, including waterfall and agile Scrum methodologies.
