
Principal Solutions Architect – Pre-Sales Lead, Data Center & AI Infrastructure Networking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.
• Serving as the technical lead on project pursuits, providing support to our Business Development Managers by guiding them on effective pitches and strategies for success.
• Developing and sustaining the offering presentations, solution materials, and reference architectures that the broader GTM team utilizes.
• Identifying target client profiles for data center and AI-infrastructure modernization, and assisting in the qualification of incoming deals.
• Conducting technical discovery and architecture sessions with clients in collaboration with the BDM.
• Transforming infrastructure challenges (latency, throughput, scalability, cost) into proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs), while aiding in the commercial negotiation process.
• Leading the solution design for data center fabric modernization, AI-inference readiness, SmartNIC/DPU offloading, Linux networking and packet processing, segmentation and security, as well as hybrid-cloud networking.
• Overseeing practical work involving DPDK, VPP, eBPF/XDP, P4, SmartNICs/DPUs, FPGA/GPU offloading, SONiC, Kubernetes networking, and Open vSwitch.
• Over 10 years of experience in data center networking, infrastructure, or systems engineering.
• Proven track record in pre-sales or solutions architecture.
• Hands-on experience in building or selling networking solutions.
• Proficient in developing and presenting proofs-of-concept, ideally utilizing automation tools (Python, Ansible, Terraform).
• Strong working knowledge of several areas including Linux networking, switching, routing, SmartNIC/DPU, DPDK/VPP, FPGA acceleration, SDN data planes, Kubernetes networking, network security, virtualization, observability, and AI-infrastructure networking.
• Comfortable navigating enterprise procurement processes and extended technical sales cycles.
• Capable of engaging senior buyers (CIO, VP Infrastructure, VP Engineering) effectively, translating engineering depth into business value.
• Proficient in English, at a B2 level or higher.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including afternoon and evening calls with clients in the US.
