Principal Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main technical liaison for accounts, cultivating a thorough understanding of their unique use cases, architecture, and business objectives.

• Lead the resolution of technical issues, collaborating with the support team to guarantee prompt and effective solutions. When workload permits, you will be expected to take the primary responsibility for addressing challenges within your accounts.

• Actively promote product adoption by discovering new use cases and opportunities for customers to derive additional value from Solo.io's product offerings.

• Advise customers on best practices for utilizing Solo.io products in their environments.

• Create and present training sessions and workshops for clients.

• Represent the customer’s interests within Solo.io, relaying insights to the product management and engineering teams.

• Work alongside the account team to identify and handle risks and opportunities concerning product adoption, renewal, and growth.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in a customer-facing technical position, such as a Solutions Architect, Site Reliability Engineer, or Senior Support Engineer.

• Extensive knowledge of cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, service mesh (like Istio), and API gateways (such as Envoy).

• Background in a post-sales role emphasizing customer success and product adoption.

• Demonstrated capacity to manage technical relationships with large, strategic clients.

• Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.

• Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Bash) is advantageous.

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
