This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Facilitate high-level discovery sessions with CTOs, CPOs, and VPs of Engineering to gain insights into prospect architecture, business objectives, and integration needs.
• Manage the technical narrative throughout the pre-sales process, which includes live demonstrations, proof-of-concept scoping, and solution presentations to senior decision-makers.
• Oversee intricate technical scoping for enterprise integrations and migrations during the pre-sales stage, especially when ownership, data readiness, and sequencing are unclear.
• Identify obstacles, outline critical paths, and ensure alignment across engineering teams on both sides of a transaction.
• Create integration architectures and onboarding processes customized to specific customer limitations, ensuring a smooth transition to Customer Success at contract finalization.
• Address RFPs and technical questionnaires with precise and comprehensive information regarding Badge's capabilities.
• Provide pre-sales insights to Product and Engineering to enhance the platform and onboarding experience.
• Collaborate with Sales leadership on strategic accounts as an equal partner to customer engineering leadership throughout the pre-sales process.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or senior technical roles that engage with customers in the B2B SaaS sector.
• Proven history of managing technical sales cycles from start to finish, working closely with account executives and sales leadership on demonstrations, POCs, and RFP submissions.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with CTOs, CPOs, and VP-level stakeholders effectively.
• Established capability to scope and lead complex enterprise integrations or migrations in scenarios where the technical landscape was ambiguous or poorly documented upon arrival.
• Strong executive presence with the flexibility to tailor messaging for both engineering teams and business leadership.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and contemporary integration methodologies.
• Familiarity with mobile development concepts and mobile platform ecosystems (iOS/Android).
• Knowledge of enterprise software architectures, as well as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS integrations.
• Located on the East Coast, with regular travel to customer sites and industry events in the area required.
