Principal Solutions Architect – AI & Deployment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the deployment of self-managed, Kubernetes-based environments across both on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

• Assist customers in preparing their environments, including hardware sizing, networking, and configuration needs.

• Set up and configure operators, licenses, and essential platform components.

• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Professional Services teams to define requirements, success metrics, and deployment strategies.

• Organize and implement Proof of Concepts (PoCs), encompassing scoping, milestones, communication schedules, and technical validation.

• Perform architecture reviews concentrating on scalability, reliability, security, and operational best practices.

• Diagnose installation, orchestration, and runtime challenges across Kubernetes, containers, and distributed systems.

• Create and update deployment guides, runbooks, reference architectures, and documentation on best practices.

• Assist with customer demonstrations and technical walkthroughs utilizing real or representative datasets.

• Manage expectations regarding performance, reliability, and operational limits throughout the engagement process.

• Keep detailed engagement plans, status updates, and decision logs to ensure team alignment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in developing and designing complex solutions.

• Practical experience in deploying and managing software on Kubernetes (both on-premises and cloud).

• Strong foundational knowledge of Linux and experience with containerization technologies.

• Experience in sizing and configuring environments for data-heavy or distributed systems.

• Familiarity with distributed databases; experience with graph or multi-model databases is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and assist customers in navigating complex decisions.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot performance, capacity, and operational challenges in production environments.

• Experience managing PoCs from start to finish, including planning, execution, and measuring success.

• Proficient in using modern collaboration tools (ClickUp, Slack, etc.).
