Principal Software Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Integrate applications to develop a DCS environment that complies with zero-trust architecture.

• Assist in patching, upgrading, and securing images for routine production update releases.

• Contribute to various initiatives and projects within the Agile Delivery team.

• Plan, execute, test, document, and sustain complete system or subsystem solutions utilizing both internally developed and commercially available products.

• Coordinate the analysis, acquisition, and installation of hardware and software.

• Collect and evaluate data to support the development of system requirements.

• Provide integration and post-installation support to the operations team.

• Create work plans, procedures, and estimates for systems integration tasks and team members.

• Collaborate with team members to execute tasks in alignment with the project management timeline.

• Produce technical instructions, engineering plans, technical designs, and other documentation related to systems integration.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 14+ years of experience as a system integrator, system engineer, or senior system administrator specializing in Data Centric System integration; an additional 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.

• Proven experience in installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and integrating network devices, virtualization technologies, and storage solutions.

• Knowledge of Ping Directory, Fortra Titus, Virtru, Active Directory, or Cord3.

• IAT II certification is required or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of the start date.

• Extensive background in installing, upgrading, troubleshooting, and integrating Microsoft systems, Linux, ICAM, IDAM, PKI, and other applications in an air-gapped environment.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

• Capability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

• Familiarity with zero-trust requirements, regulations, policies, and procedures.
