Principal Software Engineer – VC Backed Startups

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Define and drive the technical architecture, establish best practices, and create a comprehensive full stack development strategy.

• Design, construct, and sustain scalable, high-performance applications for both front-end and back-end.

• Develop APIs, microservices, and cloud-native solutions tailored for large-scale applications.

• Enhance application performance, security, and reliability.

• Collaborate with founders, product managers, and engineering teams to synchronize business and technology objectives.

• Establish and oversee best practices for code reviews, testing, and deployment.

• Mentor and support senior engineers while cultivating a robust engineering culture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of full stack development experience with a proven track record of technical leadership.

• Proficient in front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, and Svelte.

• Skilled in back-end frameworks including Node.js, Django, Flask, Ruby on Rails, and FastAPI.

• Strong familiarity with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Redis.

• Proficient in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Knowledgeable in Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with distributed systems, high-availability architectures, and event-driven designs.

• Proficient in programming languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, Ruby, Go, or Java.

• Strong foundation in CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Experience mentoring engineers and leading large-scale technical projects.
